Jola Fixed IP Service (formerly ‘CPE Fixed IP’) - changing SIM carrier v2



When changing the SIM to an alternative carrier, the APN settings will require updating.


To do this, please follow the below steps. Nb - the port number for LAN access will be 55555 – eg. http://192.168.0.1:55555/


Select System – mobile manager and change Auto APN to OFF. 



Next, change Manual APN to ON NB. the Auto APN option will disappear. Change the APN SIM 1 to Do_Not_Use. Click Submit and Save & Apply (top right of screen)


Navigate to Interface, link manager and edit the link settings for the WWAN link of the SIM



Ensure Automatic APN selection is OFF


Complete APN details of the new carrier (APN, Username and password). A list all APN settings can be found on our Knowledge Base. Once entered, please click Submit and then Save & Apply (top right of screen).
