There are two processes you can follow to add and remove users from a tenant these are via the Automated Script or by Manually running the PowerShell commands.
Automated
To add users via the automated process follow the below steps;
1) Log in to SIP Manager
2) View the Tenant
3) Click the login to Microsoft button and proceed to sign in with the O365 Admin of the customer
4) Add your users into the blank fields
Once entered the user will have an amber triangle next to it, this indicates the changes are pending to be synced with the platform.
5) The login to Microsoft button should now have a Sync Changes button in it place, select this to sync the changes automatically with O365 (Do not hit Manual sync as this requires you to run the PowerShell commands manually)
The Sync status will change to a green tick once synced succesfully.
To remove users via the automated process follow the below steps;
1) Log in to SIP Manager
2) View the Tenant
3) Click the login to Microsoft button and proceed to sign in with the O365 Admin of the customer
4) Click the - symbol next to the user you wish to remove, this will then update to have an amber triangle next to it, this indicates the changes are pending to be synced with the platform.
5) The login to Microsoft button should now have a Sync Changes button in its place, select this to sync the changes automatically with O365 (Do not hit Manual sync as this requires you to run the PowerShell commands manually)
The user should no longer be visible within the menu if removed successfully.
Manual
To add users via the manual process follow the below steps;
1) Log in to SIP Manager
2) View the Tenant
3) Add your users into the blank fields
4) Once added, click the Manual Sync button
5) Next you need to run the PowerShell commands to sync the users with the SIP manager portal, please see the
PowerShell Guide for these steps.
To remove users via the manual process follow the below steps;
1) Log in to SIP Manager
2) View the Tenant
3) Click the - Symbol against any users you wish to remove
4) Select the Manual Sync button to remove the users from SIP Manager
5) Next remove the configuration from your O365 tenant via PowerShell commands, the commands required can be found within the
PowerShell Guide.
