The Dashboard is your log-in landing page. It displays top-line information and allows you to quickly and easily jump to other areas of the portal.
One Card displays your phone and extension number and has a slider to instantly enable or disable your Do Not Disturb (DND) feature. Clicking the settings icon will take you to your DND Feature page where you can change your set-up.
The other Card shows the main Device you are using to make calls, be it a physical Device or an Application, and if it’s connected (registered) to the Service. Also displayed is your ‘MAC’ address – this is a unique code for Devices and no two have the same one. It can be found on the underside of your physical Device too. If you’re using an Application as your main Device, no MAC address will be shown.
Depending on your device, you may be able to manage certain functions by clicking the settings icon.
This shows your last five Recent Calls, Messages* and Recorded Calls*, and if you have a Recorded Call In Progress*.
If Messages and Recorded Calls are available to you, there are several options such as play, pause, scrub (fast-forward or rewind), download a transcript, and send audio files via email.
You can access more Call information by clicking Calls in the Sidebar Menu or the ‘All Calls’ button in this panel.
* Only visible if included with your package.
To start, the most common Features are listed here for you and in the future, once developed, you will be able to set your own favourites.
Clicking the ‘question mark’ icon gives an overview of the Feature, while the settings icon takes you to that Feature’s specific page where you can manage certain functions. Once on this page, you’ll notice an ‘Assist me’ button at the top, which will bring up an article about the Feature in a new tab should you need some help with it.
If you’re part of an Calling Group, this panel will display any that you belong to and their main number. Clicking the settings icon where they appear will take you to a management page for that Group, where supported.
Note, if you are an Administrator then the name of the Group will act as a hyperlink, clicking on this will take you straight to the settings page for that Call Group.
Hitting the arrow in the top-right corner of each panel expands or collapses it, which makes it easier for you to only view the information you need at that time.
Down the side of this Dashboard, you can see the Sidebar Menu. The page names are pretty self-explanatory, but here’s a quick overview of what you can access:
* If you are an Administrator, then you may be able to access more advanced functionality in this area, including adding Devices and modifying licenses/add-ons.
You can view this menu wherever you are on the Business Portal, which gives you access to:
*If you are logged in as a User then you can search Contacts or Features whereas if you are logged in as an adminstrator, this function will enable a wider search of different items such as devices.
