If you’re on a call with one other person and it would help to have a third person join your conversation, Three way call allows you to do this without having to end the call and set-up an external conference call.
Please note, this Feature is only available on certain Devices and Applications, it isn’t customisable through the Business Portal.
To use this Feature, no set up is required. Simply press the ‘Conference’ button on your IP Phone while you’re on your regular two-person call.
Depending on the type of phone you have, this might be a hard or soft key. A hard key is a labelled physical button, the label will be next to it on the Device or on a digital display. A soft key will be a labelled touch-screen button.
Having pressed this button, your existing caller will be put on hold, allowing you to dial the other person. When they answer, just press the ‘Join’ soft key and the Three way call will begin.
To end the Three way call, simply push the ‘End’ key or hang-up your Device.
Each Device is different, so it’s worth checking your device to see if it has this function.
You can use the Three way call Feature on all Applications that support calling.

This is an on-call Feature for a maximum of three people, other conferencing Features may be available on your service if you need a call with more than three Users.
