How this Feature will help you

It makes it easier and quicker for you to call the numbers you dial often. Once set up, you simply press a single digit (from 2 to 9) on your Device/Application to call a company or person.

How to set up and use this Feature

Click on the Speed Dial 8 settings icon on the Features page.

Manage Speed Dial 8 numbers

Click ‘Add numbers’.

Select a digit (Code) from 2 to 9 and type in the telephone number you’d like to assign to that Code. You can also include a ‘Description’, such as a company or person’s name.

You can add up to eight numbers in total. Simply hit ‘Save’ once you’re done.

Status

After adding your numbers, you’ll be redirected to the main page from where you can manage them.

How to set up and use this Feature – on an IP Phone

To make a call to a speed dial contact, simply lift the handset and once you hear the dial tone, press the digit for the contact you want to dial (between 2-9), followed by #.

Additional information

To help you remember who your Speed Dial 8 digits are assigned to, you can write them down, check on the Business Portal or add a speed dial to your Device’s home screen if supported.

If using Feature access codes via a device to program speed dials, then unless your Administrator has changed the codes, dial *74.  After dialling the Access Code, enter a digit from 2 to 9. Then enter the phone number you want to assign to it, followed by #.
