It allows your Users to have 5-20* Devices that all display your primary line number for inbound and outbound calls. This saves you having to share multiple phone numbers with clients, making it easier for them, plus it stops them from knowing where you are when you make or receive calls.
*Support for 20 devices is only available for the top-end license, otherwise the default is 5.
As an Administrator, you can manage this Feature, but Users can’t.
Click on the Shared call appearance settings icon on the Features page.
Turn ‘on’ or ‘off’ by ticking or unticking the box. If it’s ‘on’, all your users Devices will ring when they make a call from an Application, so they can pick up one of these devices to complete the call.

**Support for MCA is only available for some licenses and may not appear here.
Click the ‘Add Devices’ button to added a new shared call apperance device, but note the User must have a Primary device set-up as this feature uses those details to make and recieve calls. If the user does not have one, then this can be setup from the Users Profile link on the sidebar menu. The primary device is the one that will appear on the Users dashboard page.
From the drop-down menu, select if you want to use an ‘Existing Device’ or ‘Build a new Device’.
Search for and select your existing Device.
The device name for it will appear.
Then simply hit ‘Save’.
Type in a name for the Device – once saved this can’t be edited.
Search for and select the model.
Type in the MAC address.
Then simply hit ‘Save’.
After adding a Device, you’ll be redirected to the main page where all your Share Call Appearance Devices will be listed. From here you can delete them and add new ones.

If you have this setting turned on, and an Administrator hasn’t changed the codes, theycan transfer calls between their Shared Call Appearance Devices by dialling *11 on the Device you wish the call moved to.
Where they are using Multiple Devices you can also choose deactivate ringing on any of the devices by dialling *12, and to reactivate by dialling *13, again if an administrator has not changed these.
