It can reduce missed calls and give you greater control over who can handle certain incoming calls.
If a User in the Series Completion group is busy, the Feature hunts for somebody that’s available, in the order you chose when you created the group, until an idle User is found or the end of the list is reached.
It’s a simplistic version of the Hunt Group Feature, with only one hunt option and a User is only allowed to be in one group, although your Site can have multiple Site Completion groups.
Click on the Series Completion settings icon on the Features page.
Then select ‘Add group’.
Type in a name for your group.
To add Users, search for their names and select them once they appear. Add all Users for that group.
Then drag and drop them to create your preferred answering order.
Once you’re finished, simply hit ‘Save’.
You can go back and remove Users from a group afterwards should you need to.
After creating your group, you’ll be redirected to the main page where all your Series Completion groups will be listed. From here you can delete them, edit them, and add new ones.
Unlike Hunt Groups which use separate phone numbers (pilot numbers) to distribute calls, all calls to any number of a user in the Series Completion group will trigger the hunt function. If you require hunting to only trigger when a pilot number is phoned, require more than one hunting option or require a user to be in more than one group, then you should instead look at the Hunt Group Features which offers more advanced controls.
