v1.0 – 28/11/2024
On the activations page of Mobile Manager there is the option of choosing a physical or QR SIM
The benefits of QR activations include:
The 'SIM Type' option is highlighted in screenshot below. By default, 'Physical' SIM is selected, but in this example no physical SIMs were available to activate.
Under this Operator switching from 'Physical' to 'QR' would then present the normal SIM activation options as per screenshot below:
You will see above that there is a maximum number of QR activations per day, per Operator, on each Mobile Manager platform. If you want the default number of activations (10) to be adjusted (up or down) please speak to your Account Manager.
Please also note the highlighted QR agreement box above and note about pricing.
The Operators currently available to order as QR on Mobile Manager are below. The price per QR activation is generally the same price as a physical SIM – see price list for details.
NB - Vodafone QRs are available but there is currently a manual order process via your Account Manager. The QR will not be displayed in Mobile Manager.
When the Mobile Manager QR activation order completes, the normal SIM details page will be displayed but with the addition of a new ‘QR Details’ tab. This is the location of the QR code itself and the option to mail the code from Mobile Manager directly to your customer. See screenshot below:
Please see table below for more information on QR SIM swaps and Rescans:
Group QR
Instead of a single QR code per profile, if you are interested in Group QRs, these are available on Three / MultiNet or RoamNet LD. Please speak to your Account Manager for more information.
