Feature access codes - JolaPhone

How this Feature will help you

To make things easier for your Users, you can customise the existing Feature Access Codes to reflect your previous phone system – these codes allow users to dial short-cut codes into their device to initiate functions, i.e., start recording a call or turn on call forwarding etc.

How to set up and use this feature 

Click on the Feature Access Codes settings icon on the Features page.


You’ll see a list of the Feature Access Codes, including the main feature it belongs to, its function, main code and an alternate code.

To get a more detailed description of its function, hover over the question mark at the start of the line or when you open up one of the codes it will provide a description of what the code can do.

There’s a search bar to help you quickly find the particular one you are looking for.

You can also select a page to jump to, and if you scroll to the bottom of the list, you can specify how many Feature Access Codes are shown on a page.

There’s a ‘Reset to default’ button at the top of the page. You’ll be asked for confirmation if you do click it.

To manage a Feature Access Code, click the settings icon at the end of the line.


Manage Feature Access Code

Type in the new main code, plus an alternative code if required.

Hit the ‘Save’ button when you’ve finished.

Additional information

Although you can change a main code, it’s recommended this is kept to a minimum to avoid conflicts with other Features and functions.

These codes are not listed anywhere on the portal so you will need to arrange to provide these directly to your users.
