It lets you view an on-net incoming caller’s ID information for calls from outside of your Site so you can greet them by name or get an advanced warning of how to best manage their call.
As an Administrator, you can manage this Feature, but Users can’t.
Click on the External Calling Line ID Delivery settings icon on the Features page.
Then simply toggle the Feature ‘on’ or ‘off’.
External Calling Line ID Delivery is only available for on-net calls, and all Users whether inside or outside your Company, need to be on the same platform, i.e. have this Feature available to them.
If another User has the Connected line ID restriction feature turned on, which stops their Incoming Caller ID information being displayed, you won’t see their details even if you have External Calling Line ID Delivery enabled.
