It shows all the Devices set up for you, including physical phones and telephone Applications.
The main Device is often, but not always, a physical phone and is indicated by a green ‘Primary’ flash.
If it is a physical Device, the following information is displayed:
Depending on your Device, you may be able to adjust some settings by clicking the settings icon. This will open a separate page and once on this page, if you’re unsure how to make changes, simply click the ‘Assist me’ button at the top to bring up an article about the available functionality in a new tab.
If it is a software Device, then only the Device name will be shown. Some of these devices may enable you to adjust some settings by clicking the settings icon. Physical phones have a ‘Registration status’ in the bottom-left corner of each panel to let you know if it’s connected to the service:
Turn ‘on’ or ‘off’ by ticking or unticking the box. If it’s ‘on’, all your users Devices will ring when they make a call from an Application, so they can pick up one of these devices to complete the call.
Turn ‘on’ or ‘off’ by ticking or unticking the box. If it’s ‘on’, your users can transfer active calls between other supported SCA Devices or by dialling the correct Feature Access Code, *11 if this has not been changed by an administrator.
Click the ‘Add Devices’ button.
From the drop-down menu, select if you want to use an ‘Existing Device’ or ‘Build a new Device’.
Search for and select your existing Device.
The device name for it will appear.
Then simply hit ‘Save’.
Type in a name for the Device – once saved this can’t be edited.
Search for and select the model.
Type in the MAC address.
Then simply hit ‘Save’.
You might have more than one physical phone shown here, for example if you work from home and an office, although both phones can’t generally be used at the same time by different people.
