How this Feature will help you

It stops other Users from joining your active calls if they attempt to use the Directed Call Pickup With Barge In Feature. Although, disabling it can be helpful if you’d like another User to jump in and assist you on a call.

How to set up and use this feature

Click on the Call Barge In Exempt settings icon on the Features page.

Then simply toggle the Feature ‘on’ or ‘off’.

Enabling it will stop other Users barging in on your active calls, disabling it will allow them to get through.

Additional information

This feature is ideal for users who are acting as customer service agents and might need a supervisor to assist during a call and so it is advised to leave this enable where possible.
