To avoid the frustration and time it takes to keep trying somebody that’s engaged on another call, this Feature will automatically call the person for you as soon as they become available.
Click on the Automatic Callback settings icon on the Features page.
Then simply toggle the Feature ‘on’ or ‘off’.
If you call somebody that’s busy on another call and have the Feature turned on, a prompt is played giving you the option to activate Automatic Callback. For example: ‘The line you are calling is busy. Press 1 if you would like to be notified when the line is available’.
If you do activate it, hang up and you’ll be notified by a special ringing as soon as the other person is available. By answering this ringing, you’ll automatically initiate a call to them.
Please note, for the new call to be attempted, both you and the other person’s phone needs to be idle.
Automatic Callback can only be activated when the destination/number is for another User on this platform within your Company.
The Feature won’t be activated if your call is handled by a terminating service, such as Selective Call Rejection or Selective Call Acceptance.
