The Auto Bolt-On feature is designed to ensure that users stay connected without any interruptions.
On the last day of each month, the system divides the user's current data usage by the total number of days available in the month in order to calculate a daily total. If it predicts that the user is likely to exceed their data allowance before the next cycle begins, the feature will notify you to apply the lowest available bolt-on in order to cover the predicted overage.
This proactive measure prevents overage charges and ensures seamless connectivity by adding the necessary additional data to the user’s SIM card.
To ensure this feature works as expected you may need to remove your SIMs from the default Bar, however If a SIM bars before the last day of the month, Bolt-Ons would need to be added manually to SIMs in order to restore the service.
